How I Get My Catholic Brand Noticed

I started out in the online space as a woman with a blog (Prayer Wine Chocolate) determined to become a Mom through adoption.
My husband and I were on the road to adopt and I could not just sit and wait . . . I had to feel like I was working towards connecting us with a young lady hoping to place her baby with a loving, adoptive family.
That’s how I got here. God had other plans.
I started sharing our hopes and dreams, but I also started sharing my faith and all the hardships that prayer and ultimately Jesus, got me through.
And I started connecting with other Catholics sharing their missions with the world through online platforms.
It’s been a decade of learning experiences, so let me share some of what I’ve learned with you about how to get my Catholic ministry and my Catholic business noticed by others.
If you don’t want to read this and want the bottom line . . . bottom line is you need a community. Catholics Online is a community that creates opportunities to network, share audiences, boost one another and help each other learn what works and what doesn’t. You can join Catholics Online by applying here!
If you run a Catholic Apostolate, Ministry, Business or Platform you need to market and advertise your mission
- Before I do anything, I must make sure I pray. I must intentionally start my day with prayer and continue to lift my mind and heart to Our Lord throughout the day. I must constantly check in with God and take advantage of all our Church has to offer in the Sacraments. The Lord has made it crystal clear to me that He will do more than I could ever do alone.
First: Post about your Catholic ministry or business
Step one, you can’t be shy about sharing your goals online. Chances are if you are doing this work, you are passionate about this work.
Share your platform, your idea, your mission and your goal online. Use the platform you are most comfortable with –
for some that is Facebook, others Instagram or LinkedIn, others Substack or YouTube or a Podcast.
Post what you do and why you are doing it.

Make sure you are posting without links and with links.
If you desire people who want to help you to visit a website, please know that platforms like Facebook don’t want their consumers to leave their platform; so post a few times with NO link to your website. Why? Because Facebook will allow more people to see it.
You might be saying, “I already know this”. To that I say, “great”!
But also, post more.
I am not saying spend a TON OF TIME on social media. I’m just saying that you do actually have to post and post consistently repeating your mission so people know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
People need to see something at least seven times before they take any action at all. Invite people into your work. Start building a community around your mission.
If you want a person to purchase something from you or donate to your mission, they need to see your offer 8 to 14 times!!!!
Many people who have heard of, follow or subscribe to Prayer Wine Chocolate, saw it on Facebook or somewhere online first.
If you really want a volunteer, a donation or to make a sale, you must post more often.
There are plenty of ways to post so that people see what your are passionate about more than see you want something from them. We talk about ways to do this in our community. Learn more here.
Second: Network with other Catholic content creators. Build real relationships and offer real help to others who share similar values and visions
If you use Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn to post about your endeavor, don’t just “post and ghost”.
Spend time as a consumer.
Notice the good work others are doing and let them know you see them. Comment on other Catholic ministry and business posts. Do so authentically, charitably and don’t seek a “payback”. Be real. Be a cheerleader.
Network with others.
If you have no idea where to start, I created this FREE GUIDE for you!
Here are a few ideas on how to network with others:
Go LIVE on Instagram; say a prayer together and then introduce one another to those watching Live (and to those who will watch later). I try to do this over on Catholics Online’s Instagram. I pray the Angelus, sometimes with guests, around noon during the week. Instagram will notify both the followers of you and the person you are praying Live with and acts as a gentle reminder that they follow you!
Host a GIVEAWAY contest!
You can do this alone or with one or more people! You don’t have to sell or make anything to host a giveaway!
You can giveaway your favorite Catholic product or products or book. You can partner with a Catholic Shop and give them some exposure while you advertise your giveaway contest.
The very first GIVEAWAY CONTEST I ever hosted I gave away over $200 in Catholic gifts from a shrine’s gift shop – and I didn’t buy any of them. The Shrine – actually the The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal donated them to me for the giveaway. I met with the President, told him my idea and by the grace of God he agreed. I think I had one email subscriber. I had very little followers on social media and Instagram wasn’t even a thing yet.
I had a blog and a plan – and the Holy Spirit took care of the rest!
Here is another example, (an idea I came up with as I was typing this is this)… Let’s say you are a ministry that has an affilate relationship with a brand and that brand gives you a percentage of a sale if the sale is made with your affilate link.
Here’s my idea: one of our members is Lily of the Valley (learn about this apostolate/ministry here).
Lily of the Valley gets a donation from Seven Weeks Coffee when customers use their specific link (this is their specific link).
I was sent some coffee from Seven Weeks Coffee with the hope that I would post about their brand. I already made a reel. I still have some coffee. Whitney and I could do a Giveaway together and let both our followers and subscribers know that when they buy from Seven Weeks Coffee they not only get great tasting coffee, they help a beautiful ministry.
These are the kinds of ideas I and the members of Catholics Online come up with when we network together virtually or just message each other online.
By working together to give away something, we will meet new people and be able to share our mission with them!
Giveaway contests are great because people enter for free by following you on Instagram or signing up for your newsletter or sharing your giveaway post (these are just a few examples). All of these help you share your message with more people and more often.
If you don’t know who to network with, consider booking a call with me! I love hearing what people are called to do and I can’t help but think of people who would be great to connect with and collaborate with. You can learn more about a one on one consultation with me here!

Third: Catholic Content Creators Build and join supportive Catholic communities
I started Catholics Online because I belonged to secular groups that supported one another and educated one another but I could not find a Catholic group that did the same.
When I started Catholics Online with people who totally saw the benefit of bloggers, artisans, ministry leaders and podcasters working together; it was like magic.
Except it wasn’t magic . . . it was God.
I met Emily Ricci who has taught me and so many others how to market like Jesus. By the way, Emily Ricci has a free newsletter – subscribe here!
I met Allison Gingras who had me on her podcast and has gotten me a few virtual speaking gigs.
I met Jerry Windley-Daoust who made it possible for me to become an author.
I met Molly Balint who helped me understand Instagram so much more than I did before I met her!
I had a community that rallied with me as I became an author and helped me be a guest on Leah Darrow’s podcast.
I met Ginny Kochis who convinced me to start a FREE Catholic podcast group on Facebook where you can connect with podcasters to be a guest on their podcasts!
I could keep going with all the people I have met through this community – and I think one day I will create a resource that just lists Catholics that have helped me throughout my blogging, ministry building journey.

This photo is from an in person event I helped organize with the Catholics Online community! Emily Ricci and Allison Gingras are in the photo!
But you can start making these connections today by joining Catholics Online. Here is the link to apply (several choices!!). Check it out now!
Building a community means being willing to do things offline as well as online. People crave in person events and meeting up with people in real life is exhilarating and life changing.
Don’t be afraid to host an in-person event! My plan in the beginning was not to host an annual retreat, but it happened and it is the reason Prayer Wine Chocolate now has a parish guide!!!

Here is a quick view of how this community is a place to get to know others like you, get support from faithful Catholics, find collaboration and cooperation opportunities and get a little boost in exposure.
- Participate in support threads. A typical week consists of a general support thread, at least one Instagram support thread and at least one Facebook support thread. We’ve had Twitter and Pinterest ones in the past, we are always flexible here and open to new ideas. What is a support thread? It’s a place where you can drop your link for extra likes, comments and maybe even shares. When you drop your link, you agree to visit the other links dropped and show some type of support. This helps us get to know one another and also helps our posts to be seen by more people. These threads were what really jump started this community and set us apart from others.
- Ask for help here. This is a safe place where you can say, “can someone look at my website and suggest changes, if any might be needed?” Can you tell me which headshot is the best? What are some “hooks” you use in your Instagram captions? Do you pay for Tailwind? How do I write a subject line or a blog title that people will click? The questions can be like these – any that you have that has to do with growing your online presence, feel free to ask here. Also, feel free to give kind but constructive feedback to others!
These are just two of the 10 actions encouraged in our community.
Members are often featured on blog posts too. You can peruse our blog posts here.
One benefit of being a member of Catholics Online is having access to several types of “Get Noticed” packages.
GET NOTICED PACKAGES ARE FOR MEMBERS ONLY!
The Get Noticed packages that are currently available are:
The Gold Get Noticed Package
The Silver Get Noticed Package
and Budget Friendly Get Noticed Packages.
All of these feature the member on our shop page.
Get Noticed packages also include being featured and highlighted in our email newsletter, getting mentioned in my two other newsletters, getting featured on Instagram and Facebook and for a limited time; Gold and Silver include a complimentary consultation call with me.

Here are what some members are saying about them:
“Purchasing the Gold Get Noticed package was a wonderful way to support Amy’s mission while also helping more people become aware of Jacqueline Brown’s Catholic fiction books. As each of us steps into building a Catholic-based business, opportunities like this to collaborate and support one another are so valuable. Working with Amy made it possible to place Jacqueline’s books in front of more Catholics in a meaningful and mission-focused way.
I would absolutely recommend it to others and would do it again. It was a great way to create visibility, support a fellow Catholic business, and help connect readers with faith-filled fiction.”
-Kaylynn Franklin

” I bought the Gold Get Noticed package for March and it’s been a wonderful, possibly the busiest, month for my business! This was the my best month I’ve had for orders and total revenue. In fact I was up 33% over last March. I have to give Amy Brooks so much credit for this as I’ve not had time to keep up with marketing. She has literally been a God send! Thank you Amy for all the traffic you’ve brought to my business this Month and last time we did this.
Della Redaja, Della Madonna Rosaries
About the Budget Friendly package (DEADLINE for Summer package July to September is June 28, 2026
“We’ve been so happy with the Get Noticed package! We signed up for it again because it’s been a practical and budget-friendly way to keep our brand visible. Since we haven’t had the time to build out email marketing or grow our social media presence this year, it’s filled a real gap for us. It’s a solid option for anyone looking for a low-effort way to stay in front of new people.”
