You have a special mission –
a unique light that the Lord has asked you to share with the world . . .

But how can you reach more souls?

The answer is networking.

Secular business owners understand the incredible results that come from a network.  As Catholic Christians, we know that when 2 or 3 gather in Jesus’ name, there God is in our presence.

Your message will reach more people if you have a network of like-minded individuals who understand the tremendous power of cooperation and collaboration.

3 Ways Catholics Can Use Networking to Grow a Ministry or Business

1. Initiate an idea and a conversation

The first way to expand your reach through networking is to reach out to a successful Catholic you admire or know in your community or follow online.

When I started blogging, I wanted to encourage Catholics to give Christ-centered gifts for Christmas.  In an effort to promote this idea, I reached out to Central Association of the Miraculous Medal.  I knew they ran a gift shop at their shrine, so I offered to feature their online shop in my article.  This led to a fantastic partnership.

Another way I have connected with other Catholics is through social media.  Personally, I love to pray with ManyHailMarysataTime – which started as an Instagram Live daily prayer event (they are now praying on YouTube).  Many times I have heard their guests speak and have been moved to reach out to him or her with ideas on how we could collaborate.

As a result, I’ve been on numerous podcasts and interviewed several Catholics on my own platform – all of these connections would have never been possible had I not listened to the conversations had with Kristin and Jill after the Rosary is prayed every day online!

2. Hire a professional Catholic Networking Consultant

Sometimes you simply need to brainstorm out loud with a person who understands that you want to reach more hearts and ears for the Lord.

Other times, you just don’t know where to start and you feel overwhelmed.  If either of these describe how you feel, consider setting up a virtual consultation.

For some reason, God gave me a “knack for networking”.  I’ve been introducing people and fostering solid relationships since I was 6 years old!

It’s funny, when I first started blogging, I thought I was laying the groundwork for helping others use networking as a way to become parents through adoption.  Although my husband and I did end up adopting twins as a result of our own networking and without the help of an adoption agency, that has not been what He has called me to do on a regular basis.

Since 2016, I’ve been getting to know people in the “Catholic world”.  Chances are, when I talk to you, I will suggest that you reach out to a number of people that are not on your radar.

I’ve seen how businesses, bloggers, ministries and shop owners have worked together to grow and attain their goals.

I’d love to help you too!  I’m passionate about helping Catholics who have special missions on their hearts – particularly those who encourage prayer and practicing our holy faith.

You can read a few reviews over on my website, but here is one from author Erin Broestl:

“Amy is professional and caring, and she really helped me with action ideas to promote my children’s book. She is gifted at networking, easy to work with, and of course, FAITHFUL. It is so helpful to have someone who is plugged into Catholic publishing and social networking take a look at my project and help me move forward. I recommend her to everyone, especially busy moms like me who are juggling way too much but feel called to promote Catholic Arts and Letters.”

3. Join a supportive Online Catholic Community

There are a few Facebook groups that focus on helping Catholics!  There seem to be more now than there was in 2017 – which is when I started the group on Facebook called Catholic Social Media Influencers.

I started this group because I was in a couple secular groups that actively educated and supported its members.  I couldn’t find a similar one myself, so I created one!

This group has grown into an incredible community.  Each member is a true blessing!  Within our group you will find bloggers who are just starting out, Catholic life coaches, business leaders that are extremely successful and Etsy shop owners who’s talent will know your knock your socks off!

All members are listed on our online directly (currently CatholicsOnline.net).

Each member is invited to the Facebook group.  We host “Tip Talks” and “Q & A” sessions.  We post support threads every week.  We connect Catholic podcasters with inspiring guests.  We listen to new ideas and take risks.

Here is what some people are saying about being a member of Catholics Online:

“Catholics Online has been an incredible resource for me, providing valuable insights into the world of Catholic blogging and marketing. The tips given have enhanced my content planning, helped me craft engaging newsletters, and led to more effective management of our social media presence at Catholic-Link.org. In addition to the practical knowledge I’ve gained, Catholics Online has led me to a vibrant and uplifting community of like-minded Catholics passionate about sharing Christ’s love through social media and business. We share a common mission and desire to support and encourage one another in our ministries. I highly recommend that any Catholic who desires to make an impact through their Catholic business, social media, or ministry join Catholics Online!”
