José is the founder of Juan Diego & Co. - a group dedicated to helping brands and organizations connect with Latinos. 🕴🏻💵 Prior to starting JD&Co, José was a financial lawyer. He led the office of a Boston-based family office in Mexico. 🍺 He founded a craft brewery that sold beer in Walmarts, HEB, and Sorianas all over Mexico. He also co-founded and managed several restaurants and bars. 💡 After starting a podcast a year before and seeing how it topped the charts and found a niche; in 2019 José left everything to start Juan Diego Network (JDN) and create high-quality audio productions for Latinos. 🔥 In 2020, after an almost year-long process, JDN became part of the University of Notre Dame´s accelerator, the IDEA Center, and won the 1st OSV Innovation Challenge. Was awarded $100k, PR with an agency for 3 months, and other perks. 🎙️ In 2022 he founded Primo Media, to help brands create podcasts that attract and connect on deeper levels with Latinos by focusing on their top priorities: family, traditions, values, and aspirations. 🎧 Today, the team has produced over 90 podcasts in Spanish, English, or Spanglish for Latino audiences. José is no stranger to innovation and experimentation. 💪 He’s been intentionally trying new things and learning from failures since the beginning of Juan Diego Network. 💡 This hands-on experience has allowed José to discover what works (and doesn’t) for different target audiences in terms of format, style, segments, and much more. 🙌 Now, he’s using this knowledge to help other organizations form deep relationships with Latinos.
