Novena to Saint Raphael to find a husband or wife
Here is the prayer that you too can pray if you are looking for love – or know someone who is looking for love!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor (mention your request here) and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

How did the intercession of Saint Raphael bring together two single Catholics?
Rebecca had been thinking about joining Catholic Match and talking to her roommate about the dream and desire to find a holy husband. The friend suggested she pray with “expectant faith” and pray to Saint Raphael. She also suggested that she write down the characteristics of who she would hope would one day be her husband.
Rebecca joined Catholic Match and on the same day started praying a novena to Saint Raphael.
Patrick was on Catholic Match and quickly started to date Rebecca after she joined the dating website.
While the couple was courting, Patrick continued to work on his business Saint of the Month.
One box he began to create during this time was a Saint Raphael box. Now Patrick had no idea that Rebecca had prayed a novena to Saint Raphael briefly before they met.
One of the tasks that was involved in curating this Saint Raphael box was to get crosses with oil blessed by a Catholic priest.
This was just one month before Patrick proposed to Rebecca. As he started planning his proposal, he started to look at upcoming feast days so he would pick one to ask Rebecca to be his wife.
Sometimes you don’t find a Saint, a Saint finds you!
Patrick said it was like Saint Raphael found him.
He was curating the box in August and planning the proposal that month. When he saw that September 29th was the feast of Saint Raphael – and that Saint Raphael is the patron of love – AND his feast fell on a Saturday that year – it was just perfect!
So Patrick prepared an entire day date for September 29th. At this point, Rebecca still had not mentioned to Patrick that she prayed a novena to Saint Raphael.
Rebecca said she did have a hunch that Patrick was going to propose on this day. She said in the middle of the date, Patrick mentioned that it was the feast of Saint Raphael. When he did that, she thought to herself, “this would be so cool if he proposed today”.
And he did! Patrick proposed and on the ride home, Rebecca told Patrick that she had prayed a novena to Saint Raphael right before she met him.
Patrick said he was blown away when he heard that!
They both said that they felt that they were given a sign from God that this was indeed His will.
Can I buy a Saint Raphael Box?
Short answer, no.
